God is waiting to empower us. The need

today to confront the works of darkness

are greater than they have ever been.

The influence of filth and violence in

people's lives will not be destroyed by

polite talk. There is a divine antidote to

the demonic powers that stir up young

people to shoot up schools and worship

dark impulses. Our only hope is in the

power of the Holy Spirit. We have a

mission from Jesus Himself, and only the

outpouring of the Spirit's power will

enable us to make a difference.

Without the Spirit of God

we can do nothing.

We are ships without wind

or chariots without horses.

Like branches without sap,

we are withered. Like coals

without fire, we are useless.
