A new report from Open Doors USA
says 2015 was the worst year on record for
Christian persecution around the world.
Citing Islamic extremism and authoritarian
governments, the report estimated that
7,000 Christians were killed for their faith
around the word in 2015, and increase of
50 percent from the previous year and the
highest number on record since statistics have
been kept on the matter.
Of the top 10 countries on the list, nine are
primarily Muslim, but North Korea's
totalitarian regime topped the list.
